In short: this app collects no personal data, does not ask you to create an account and sends nothing to any server of ours — we do not operate one. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There is no advertising network, no analytics and no crash reporting.

Important: This app never signs in, never asks for your PASSID, membership number, passport number or date of birth, and NEVER BOOKS, HOLDS OR CANCELS AN APPOINTMENT. It reads the same public slot list you can open in a browser without signing in, and tells you when an appointment opens. You book it yourself, on CBP's own site.

1. What the app does

Entry Interview Alerts checks interview appointment availability at enrolment centres on the public CBP appointment scheduler at an interval you choose, and sends a notification to your phone when an interview appointment opens. An example watch: Global Entry, JFK, within 30 days.

The app never buys, reserves or holds anything. It points you at CBP's own Trusted Traveler site; you act there yourself.

2. Data we collect

None. The developer runs no server and receives nothing from your device — not your watches, not your device identifier, not your usage, not crash reports.

3. What is stored on your device

The watches you create (programme, enrolment centre, date window), your interval setting, the records already seen so the app does not tell you twice, and the measured data usage. All of it lives in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

4. Servers the app talks to

The app connects ONLY to the CBP appointment scheduler. There is no account and no sign-in; it reads the same public slot list the official scheduler page shows before you log in. The address is:

ttp.cbp.dhs.gov

These requests are ordinary public web requests over HTTPS, the same ones your browser makes on the public appointment list of the centre you picked. They carry no identifier of you.

5. Permissions

Permission	Why
`ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	To avoid pointless attempts while offline, and to tell mobile data from Wi-Fi.
`INTERNET`	To reach the public appointment list of the centre you picked.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	To tell you an appointment opened. That is the whole app.
`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`	So your watches resume after the phone restarts.
`VIBRATE`	To vibrate when a notification arrives.
`WAKE_LOCK`	So the phone does not fall asleep in the middle of a check. The app does not ask for this itself; the background work library (Android Jetpack WorkManager) adds it.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
